Mata Vaishno Devi has situated behind a place called as "KATRA".As, we move towards the entrance gate for walking;first we have to buy the ticket for entering through the gate(as the ticket is "FREE OF COST").Then the walking has started by the bhaktas of VAISHNO MATA.After 1-2kms a river comes.
Which is called as "BANGANGA".In which bhaktas has taken a holy dip before DARSHAN.After taking a holy dip bhaktas move ahead by Echoing some sentences like:-"SARE BOLO JAI MATA DI, MILKAR BOLO JAI MATA DI".On moving ahead the way splits into two: One way goes through HIMKUNT(DISTANCE UPTO 5.5kms) &
The other way goes through ADHKWARI(DISTANCE UPTO 6.5kms) .After crossing 5-6kms we reached a place called as "ADHKWARI".Their many of the bhaktas pass through the a cave(In which MATA VAISHNO DEVI usually do tapasya & lives their.Mata also hides from the Baba Bhairavnath).From Adhkwari the distance left upto BHAWAN is around 6-7kms.On reaching BHAWAN bhaktas take DARSHAN OF SHRI MATA VAISHNO DEVI.& finally on moving ahead(1-2kms) they reached at the top of the hill in which Bhairavnath has situated.& on the taking his DARSHAN the yatra becomes successfull.
