Give him some time off. Review on Should Saurav Ganguly Be Dropped from the Indian Cricket Team - Case for 'Yes'

I personally feel Saurav should be given some time off from international assignments and should concentrate on domestic cricket for some time.

Sometimes it is better to go back to where you began from and work your way back in.Especially when you have been going through a lean patch of such massive magnitude.

I heard last week that dada had hit a century .that's gr8 news. So, it helps to play county cricket and I feel the same for domestic cricket.The domestic circuit does not pay well but tell me how much more money does Saurav/Sachin/any of the gr8 international indian players need?playing county cricket involves a lot more money than domestic but domestic is where they all began and therefore the harsh conditions that some domestic players have to put up with will definetely help our players who are so used to luxuries.

The domestic circuit is such that games are played almost everywhere in any condition if I am not mistaken and that should prepare our players for countries like Australia.

Such countries ensure that their players are well-trained to any climatic condition and the Aussies are not payed as much as our cricketers are yet quality wise they are so much better.

So, coming back to what I was saying, the BCCI should closely monitor the cricketers during off-season and ensure that they are not slacking .Now, that we have an Aussie for a coach I hope things improve.

Saurav, meanwhile,should keep working at his game and not let advertisements and the like deter him.The BCCI should also ensure that any player who declares himself unfit for domestic games should not be ALLOWED to play in international games even if they are players of sachin's stature.

This way hopefully, we can look forward to some consistent winning performance from our team!!!
