Xperia Z story with indiatimes. Review on Shoppingdiatimes

I had placed the order for Sony Xperia Z (Black) on 16 June 2013, Sunday. The order ID is 3002422800.

I had made the payment over credit card which should have reduced the delay in shipping. My friend had ordered the same product 10 minutes later to my order. The case is that he has already received the AWB number with ARAMEX, but I am still missing details on my shipping package.

I had tried to contact the live support team, but am not satisfied with the canned responses that I am receiving. I have opened a case and they have closed it without any reply.

I hate to stay in black without knowing the details on my shipment of 34K rupees.

The story so far:

Day 1: 16th June 2013 : Was happy about the fathers day offer, me and my friend almost ordered the product around the same time, greeted with a warm mail from Indiatimes, also received an SMS claiming the max delivery period to be on 25th, that is the worst case, so no fear, we are expecting it in 3 - 5 days.

Day 2 - 17th June 2013 : no response from indiatimes, no AWB, no mention of any delay. I am sincerely hoping that someone atleast tells me what is happening. My friend now has a AWB number, which is good for him. But I am still in dark.

Day 3 - 18th June 2013 : no response yet, 48 hours since the payment. I am very nervous now, reading the mouthshut reviews. I have sent the same complaint to their customer care and also added a case to their portal. This is the same time I am posting this review. Fingers crossed!

UPDATE:

Day 4 - 19th June 2013 : No response yet on my mail. The case which I opened up was closed yesterday, almost immediately. Scary enough. I really hope that my review still be active here.

* Received an update on this portal claiming that I will get the product on 25th. And now my case is reopened and is in under process. Soothing but not so good that I did not receive any personal mail or assurance on phone call. Where is customer support?

Day 5 - 20th June 2013 - Waiting game continues, I am still to receive any update on the product. The assurance on this portal is the only response I have had for receipt of the item. I am still catching my phone close to myself expecting someone to call from indiatimes.

I am really scared about the money that got paid. I will keep this story updated, and I hope that they will really need a express delivery to allow me receive the package before 25th considering that its just 4 days to the proposed date. I still do not have a AWB number.

Day 6 - 21st June 2013 Still no go, no mails, no calls yet from Indiatimes. I am not sure if it is a logistics issue as stated on my case. Since its friday already, the logistics team exactly has 3 working days to deliver the product to me. And mind it that it has been close to 6 days since I paid for the product.

I am not sure what other door to knock, taking my pressure pills as I write it out. I am confident about the support team at indiatimes but it will be a shame if the whole issue was due to out of stock. The portal as big as indiatimes shouldn't be taking this long to cover up for out of stock issues.

Anyways, I am confident on the support team that responded to me on this portal and will keep you guys posted.

Day 7 - 22nd June 2013 : No updates from Indiatimes, I am sure it should be something lost between warehouse and logistics. Its the 7th day as per the promised delivery. Still in hope with the TOI team. I have lost hope for the most part of it. Will keep this thread updated.

Day 8 - 23rd June 2013 : No updates, 7th day since payment. I am starting to get nervous about this shopping deal. Just have the slightest of hope, since my friend has been receiving call from Mr. Shobit and he also got delivered with the product without any issues.

2 days to go for the deadline.
