Xolo Q800 Day 8 Update: Shipped. Review on Shoppingdiatimes

Order No. 3002430203 shopping.indiatimes.com After a lot of confusions and little worried about the order reaching on time after reading negative reviews on mouthshut.com. I got a bit of nervous but still gathered some courage to order my first online mobile phone through shopping.indiatimes.com, vide order Number: 3002430203 for a black color XOLO Q800 and when checked shopping.indiatimes.com, it was offering competitive price also, I ordered online with shopping.indiatimes.com considering them as TImes of India group company:

Paid via credit card. Lets see what happens to my Order/Money/Mobile in coming days, as I ordered on 17th June 2013 and although they claim to deliver the product by 26th June 2013 In the coming day in between l will keep updating the status/proceedings my fellow members though Mouthshut.com and also shall update my rating status too:

Day 2 Update(18th June 2013): The order is still showing as “To be Shipped” on my account section on shopping.indiatimes.com. I e-mailed them on delivery concerns and I received reply on my mail next day:

Day 3 Update(19th June): The order is still showing as “To be Shipped” on my account section on shopping.indiatimes.com. I spoke to customer care executive and after 3-5 mins wait time CCE picked up the phone. The lady on the phone was soft spoken and assured my delivery on time i.e.26th June:

Day 4 Update(20 June): Received a reply of my previous days mail, again confirming that the mobile will be delivered on time on 26th June. Also received a response from TimesInternet which you can see in "Response Received" section: Suddenly in the evening a case ID is generated seems to be auto generated with the following details: Order No:3002430203 Sub-order No:00001. Issue Type:Escalation. Sub-Issue Type:Non Delivery - TIL Logistics. Problem Area:Shipment Not Done In Sla. Resolution Date:Jul 6, 2013. Case Status:Under Process .Case Creation Date:Jun 20, 2013 6:26 PM: The good part is they have some mechanism to auto generate case if SLA is not met but the bad part is the resolution date for case is 6th July which is my concern cos the expected date of product delivery is 26th June.let see what next.:

Day 5 Update(21 June): The online status is still "TO BE SHIPPED" and No communication from indiatimes on delivery and escalation case ID 932639. I am getting little nervous on the delivery on 26th June so wrote a mail to them in the evening showing concerns of delivery but did not received any respond in 24hr till now. Planning to leave a note on their facebook page, any suggestions MS team. Day 6 Update(22 June): No replies from indiatimes.com and no sight of product delivery, now must say that I have started getting worries since the escalation is also not proceeding.The online status is still "TO BE SHIPPED".and did not received the reply of my mail which I sent to them showing concerns.

==Day 7 Update(23 June):= Looking at the  "TO BE SHIPPED" online status and no replies from indiatimes, I decided to chat with them and connected with Jyoti Sharma(Online) which has no updates for except apologies and one liner that product will be delivered on time.As per Jyotii a customer gets a call after 24-48 Hrs of escalation but I have not got call even after 88 Hrs. She even pointed out that she is from different dept so cant reply on my mails. Attaching the transcript in word doc, please open to see. When I ddnt got satisfactory answer I called customer care and spoke to Veenu Sharma asked the same question to him but again he was not able to provide satisfactory answer and continuously repeated to have delivery on time. I asked him if delivery is on 26th June I should have a AWB or courier no by now which he has no answer except the one line he learned by heart, " The product will be delivered on 26th June"`

=Day 8 Update(24 June):== Looking at the things not moving and online status of the product in the morning was "TO BE SHIPPED", in the morning I again dropped a mail to customer care asking for shipment but did not got a reply till afternoon and in the afternoon around 3 oclock received a call from IndiaTimes social dept and now this guy started making some sense, he apologized for no communication and lack of transparency from indiatimes and even explained the reasons for delay, which was quite buy-able. He politely informed me that shipment of the product is done and gave me AWB No also. He told me that it will take upto 24 hrs to track the shipment on Bluedart website.

The ORDER DETAILS section in shopping.indiatimes is updated with expected delivery date as 28th June 2013 which makes it 2 days delayed on papers. Lets see when I will receive the mobile in my hands.

The shipment information is not available on Bluedart website.will check again tomorrow and keep posted
