I will sure write a good review for eBay, but when it comes to Indiatimes.com, from the reviews mentioned I was found my review to be no different from the majority. An indiatimes online shopping transction of mine was never fulfilled. This happened sometime in 2005, a bit late, but never late to share an experience.
The transaction done was for a watch. I first purchased ITZ cash on Indiatimes Shopping. Then this cash was used to purchase the product(a watch) on the Indiatimes Shopping website. I just got a email communication from Indiatimes Shopping saying it was out of stock. But no info as to what after - a refund, an option to buy something else. only STATIC I heard! I kept on trying to get it sorted by writing in day after day - month after month. Customer care just kept promising refund - but nothing ever came through. Then after a year, they said they no more had such old order details with them. But then I had. Sometime 2006 got fed up and stopped communcating with them. If I wrote anymore - it was going to cost me more time money and emotions than the Rs 500 I lost. The experience made me question trustworthiness of Online transactions. Especially when from an entity part of the Times Group who is all the time Leading India and Unlocking Bangalore!
Need more info: write to me for Order details of the aove transaction. Attached herewith is one correspondence I have with me - one of the many ticket numbers in reply when you sent in a complain promising of action in 48 hrs. Well! Its been years and no action!
To share it here - is a revelation to people what they are to face in the Online world. After so many years, It is the number of people reading reviews that spurred me to post this at Mouthshut.com.
