The worst among all. Review on Shoppingdiatimes

I should have listened to what people have earlier said here. Well, I have learnt my lesson the hard way.

I have done a lot of e shopping, from rediff, sify, some flower sites, cake sites...but I must say these guys are the winners...in the worst customer service category.

Recently I purchased a stroller for my new born. Well everything went well until I receive the product.When I opened it, I realized that it need to be assembled. Well I am good at building things...hence it should have been a cake walk for me. But when I opened the instruction manual all hell broke lose. I spent half an hour looking for instructions in the so called instruction manual in the 1 page manual. Finally I started using my common sense and assembled it. But got stuck while assembling the rear wheels. There was no way it can fit. Finally I concluded that they have sent a faulty set. Also some plastic parts were already broken.

So I started the process of calling "customer service". Customer Service...I need to think a better name for this to associate with Indiatimes. The lady over phone was very nice and told me that I will receive the instruction to return the package within 3 days. 3 days came and went...no response. So I called again and I was told the same thing. till today I have called 4 times and all the time I was promised the same. Ofcourse it has not happened and I am sure it will not happen.

And guess what, when you ask about escalation, they will point you to helpme.indiatimes.com

Just try submitting anything in this feedback page. You will realize that the last step (the step where you submit your complaint) throws up a error page.

Try writing mails to them directly to their mail id **customerservice@indiatimes.com

*It will bounce. Hence now you have a bunch of crooks over phone who call themselve customer service representative, a website that does not accept feedback and a mail id which doesn't like mails.

So you have no way to contact these guys to register your complaint. And I am sure its not by chance, its by deisgn that these things fail.

I have decided to wait for a couple of days, gather some more evidence against this fradulant company and register a complaint at the consumer's forum.

But in the mean time please please avoid buying anything from these guys....its not worth the risk....
