My first Experience Of E-Shopping
I had never shopped online,the whole idea of paying online by credit card,not sure if there is any risk.
But buying a product which I had not touched , seen , felt seemed a bit weird.
But REDIFF would be flooding me with mails to buy some titles from their music collection

Dil Chahta Hai + JOSH + JORU KA GULAM - 99 rs only,just could not resist,not cos I could not buy them at the same price at a shop,but for the thrill of on-line shopping.
No complaints on this one with REDIFF,they were prompt in delivering.
Just one mystery though , this order still shows as PENDING in my shopping bag with the status as APPROVED.
Just waiting for them to deliver it to me again.

Me and my friend busy mailing some one.
An Advertisement pops up.
Egyptian Poly Cotton Shirt Rs.299/- only No shipping charges.
My friend says he wants the shirt.We go through a whole painstaking process of choosing the shirt color.
I think REDIFF is right in saying No shipping charges as they never shipped the shirt.
the time taken to dispatch the product is 7 days today being June 4th , its a whole 20 days since my friend wore a shirt to office. thanks to REDIFF !
Ms Neha ( Customer service at REDIFF ) isnt it basic Courtesy to Mail back and inform if REDIFF is having any problems in shipping the order.
Still waiting for the shirt !!!

Me and another of My friend at the PC.
Another advertisement pops up.
This time it's a Bag.
Multipurpose Haversack - Black rs 199/- only. No shipping and Handling charges again.
They have still not shipped,and we have still not handled the bag.
The lead time for this order is 10 days , so I am on the LOC , so cant complain much. But if I dont get this order in another 5 days , will edit this review, and add more stronger words in this part !
There is a link Track My order with the mail the customer service department sends.
On clicking this link they take you to a page where your order status is shown.
No much info here , that you already dont know.
It shows the item name , price ,the status and the courier info ,i think the status never gets updated , as all my orders are still pending, even the orders which are delivered.And the courier info is forever blank as they have seldom couriered anything.
Live online help is available, But not sure when and for whom. Whenever I tried this link, It pops up a Message

We regret the inconvenience caused to you.''
REDIFF I must say is very prompt at one thing, - Mailing back.
I sent a mail asking whether My orders are coming from heaven, they replied promptly saying no, but please wait we will be sending them to you shortly.hmmm Ok.Shortly is what I am looking forward to now.
So the current situation is
One of my friend is without a Shirt.
Another friend is without a Bag.
And I am without friends.
I am the New joke in My office,Any one wants anything,just tell Santosh, he will get it for you from REDIFF they say !
