Hi all. I'm Manish from New Delhi. I would like to share my shopping experience with rediff.com.


I have been using online shopping sites like Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm for quite a long time now and so far it was a pleasant experience with all of them.


Last month I thought to explore other sources and I decided to use rediff.com for the first time. I had placed an order for jacket and when I was making online payment to finish my purchase suddenly something happened and I got an SMS and mail instantly frim Rediff.com that my transaction was not successful.


After that I placed another order for the same jacket and this time payment transaction was successful and I got a message from rediff.com that my order will be delivered in 7-8 days time.


After 2-3 days I started getting mails from Rediff.com that my both orders had been shipped and I will get them in another 4-5 days. I wrote to them saying that it was not two but only one order. I gave them reference number of the transaction which was failed and I told them that Rediff.com has confirmed me on mail and sms that my first payment transaction was failed.


Number of mails were exchanged but these people are not courteous enough to accept their mistake rather they kept talking about there policies and as expected refund was denied by them.


My message to Rediff.com-


It's good to have policies which your employees are strictly following. That's good.


What is not good is that you have lost my faith on you. Please learn from Amazon, Flipkart, etc. if your really serious about your business.


Policies should be such that it can make and retain customers. What would you do with your policies if there are no customers. Please refrain from such acts that actually tarnishes your reputation.


I hope you will take my message on a positive note and I hope to see customer friendly approach from you in future.
