Hi guys...This is shobna here, people call me Shobs..i havent written many reviews...or shud I say I have just written two reviews which is so-so...but I like to read good reviews by you guys at MS...newyas..i'm sure u wud love this review of mine cos most of them love to shop till they drop & love reading abt good places to shop, One of my Fav place to shop..The 'SHOPPERS STOP'

Let me begin by saying that..initially I never entered shoppers stop thinking that it was meant for only the so-called high class people.i had the inferiority complex...what if I go in & dont buy any stuff thinking that it was very expensive. But believe me guys..this is a real cool place to shop & ofcourse, even if u dont have enough cash on you, u can always just enter the mall..look around the place..cos there is no one around to bother you asking questions like..MEMSAAB KYA CHAHIYE???

The ideal things for shopping in this mall.

FOR FEMALES - I dont know about other females but the first section I visit when I enter the mall is the jewellery section. absolutely amazing silver jewellery, Earings, Rings, Bracelets & Necklaces. Pls do pick up a pair of earings & I'm sure u wont regret.

I am sure most of the gals love cosmetics, all brands of cosmetics are available..rt from lakme to revlon to exclusive international brands namely chambor, maybelline. It becomes quite easy as there are females helping u out with the shade that matches ur skin tone & not to forget that they r quite friendly.

After cosmetics, r the craze for clothes...the clothes to look out for r just the kurtas (short as well as long). they are reasonably priced (any where from 300 -450) depending on the material..most of which r the cool cottons. The best part about these kurtis are that it has got the best fit & mainly it comes in sizes varying from the 'S' meaning small, then the medium & then the large. so it is very easy to figure out which category u fall into. You also can mix & match these kurtas with the wide colour range in the salwars & churidars..along with the beautiful dupattas available..u have the plain dupattas, the battic ones & also the odissi dupattas available in both silk as well as cotton. Though these dupattas are priced a little high but it is unique. the plain dupattas are ranged between 100-150, & the churidars r priced at 240. This the 'ETHNIC' section.

moving on to the 'WESTERN'section for females...the trend, capris, knee lenght skirts(both formal as well as the denim ones) r very much in, and more over very much ideal for rains; they also have a section where you can pick up stuff by the name 'STOP' which is a brand which is ofcourse not available anywhere else except at all the 'SHOPPERS STOP' outlets. If you are the sporty kinds then you can check out the sports section where u can sport brands like ADDIDAS, NIKE, REEBOK, ALSO U Can spot SACHIN TENDULKAR ( ARRE USKA PHOTO..WOH NAHIN), RAHUL DRAVID, PAT RAFTER & many more. If you r looking out for a cool sporty t-shirt then I suggest u either go for a reebok or an addidas cos they have quite a good variety which nike lacks. But I would also suggest you not to buy sports shoes from this mall cos they dont have most of the variety..only buy them during a sale; then there r the usual jackets, capri pants, pyjamas etc etc. Also brand crazy people dont have to get disappointed. they have brands namely- Levis, Lee cooper, Lee, Life, Jealous, Pepe & many more. For denims I suggest Jealous or levis as both the brands have a great fit. I guess thats enough on the gals section.

Now the guys turn: Though I dont know a lot on what guys like or prefer wearing, its only when I accompany my dad or brother that I visit the mens section. I have never understood nor will I ever... that why my dad keeps buying white shirts. Each time I have visited the mens section my dad has picked up a white shirt saying..this white is different, nevermind..lets proceed.

If u r among the college goers, I suggest u should pick up one of those knee length pants & team it up with a cool short shirt or a t-shirt. The denims are always a welcome & the brand which is doing very well & is picking up among the younger crowd is Levis strauss. The other brands to select from are Pepe, Lee cooper, Lee etc etc. If you are cricket crazy or should I say sachin crazy, then you could opt for Addidas. They have a good range in t-shirts & the informal pants. Also reebok & Nike are the brands to look out for. I suggest Nike is not the brand to look out for when it comes to t-shirts.

Then for the office goers there is always the branded section, u name it & it is available. I am not gonna name any of them. You go & check it out for urself.

This is specially for those who r looking out for some time-pass or waiting for someone, there is the 'CROSS-WORD' section which is a book stall.. where you can just pick up any book you like & there r these chairs & tables kept where u can sit & read. behind that is a music section..u can listen to some soothing music.(Chembur outlet). Also if you want to have a refreshing coffee, then you have the Barista(Bandra outlet).

The best part abt this mall is, the membership card. You have different kinds of cards depending on the amt u shop for. There is the First citizen card, the Gold card wherein you can collect points & then exchange them for any product. WHAT ARE YOU GUYS WAITING FOR?? JUST GET READY & RUSH..IF U HAVENT VISITED THIS PLACE U R MISSING OUT A GR8 DEAL. ( Hey guys I forgot to add that plssss dont miss out on the 'SALE' at 'SHOPPERS STOP'. Its really worth it, the prices are slashed as no mans business..real cheap). PHEW..Thats a long review..but I could just go on...

Should I..it would be unfair if I dont tell u my bad experience shopping at 'SHOPPERS STOP'. To begin with when I entered the mall.. I was already sweating..hoping to get a little cooler but unfortunately there was no electricity supply & so it was both hot as well u cud barely see which colour ur picking up..as I was already so irritated..there was this one sales person who really pissed me off. I purchased quite a lot of stuff, & when I went to the billing counter, obviously the computer were not working bcos of the electricity & I couldnt even redeem my points, I wanted to get my pants altered but couldnt do that also & moreover this sales person just takes one of the expensive shirts & just dumps it into the cover with out even bothering to pack it properly. Ofcourse I got it exchanged but it was, I hope the first & the last horrible experience I had.
