Ordered an Apple iPhone on this site on 7th Nov. Wanted it to be Diwali present. Got an email acknowledgement of the order. However that's when I started realizing my mistake. They sent an email after 5 days saying the item is out of stock. They are trying to procure it is the answer I got whenever I spoke to the customer support.
They told me that at the time of order itself they did not have any stock. How could they let me order without stock? Had to do a daily follow up for a week to ensure the order gets cancelled. When every I called them it takes at least 4 minutes to get to talk to the customer support. Usually they put you on hold for at least 5 minutes saying they are talking to the credit department or pulling out records.
The information you get in emails, order information on IVR, the customer support person were all talking different things. One said they do not have stock, other said it is on hold so on so forth. They were clueless. They have no coordination.
Finally they cancelled my order. Then started the herculean task of getting my EMI fees back. Firstly, they refused they will not return it. I told them will take it to consumer court if they do not. As I would not have ordered if the stock was not there and opting for emi would be out of question. After several calls, keeping on holds, promised call backs( which never came) they told they will give back my emi processing fees in shopclues points.
I would not do mistake by taking/doing anything which has got to do with Shopclues.
