I am from bangalore and saw a deal on savemoneyindia.com regarding 32 and 64Gb pen drives being sold at 572 and 1000 approx. So I ordered  on 5th Dec as it was a dirt cheap price for those drives, my order number was 1977565. Site only shows one status as mentioned below.

Processing Order Status as of 06 Dec 2012, 09:07 AM


05 Dec 2012, 11:11 AM Order Date


Your order is confirmed and we have started the process of picking the


product from the merchant. You can expect the shipment email and sms from


us within next 3-4 days. If there is any important update like product


temporarily out of stock with the merchant, we will update you through


email."*


So I wrote 2-3 mails to customer care asking for the status of my order, and everytime I get a standard reply from them, as if its a bot or some programming module which sends you a standard reply.. pasting their standard reply below....

It doesn't matter what you type in the mail to customer care you will surely get the above standard reply. Now as its been more than 4 days have passed since I ordered with no information about order status, I have send a request to cancel my order and refund my money at earliest. Lets see when they will return my money, if not then either I file a police complaint under cyber crime department or with consumer court.


will update this when I get more replies from shopclues.

*Have to edit this review after today's response from Shopclues, got a call from delhi from their customer care and the guy was very polite in listening to my problem and told me that he will update me in next two hours after speaking to his merchant. After one hour got a mail stating that product is out of stock, hence I replied to their mail asking to cancel the order and refund the money, and to my surprise I got cancellation and money refund request initiated with next 15 mins. Got a mail from CCAvenues (payment gateway) also regarding the refund being initiated.


I am presently in a doubtful state whether to trust this site or not. The only thing I can suggest them is to increase their check on merchant for out of the stock items and customer related communication if they really want to become good online shopping site.*
