Yeah, you read it right…its not shootout…its wrestling at

lokhandwala because if I remember correctly 4 out of 6 gangsters were killed while

wrestling with super hero cops!

And yes, Apporva Lakhiya does it again what he does best

i.e.

Mumbai Se Aya Mera Dost  -

Utter Bullshit

Ek Ajnabi -

Frame by frame(and even dialogs) copy of Hollywood

classic Man On Fire…again…no credit to him

Shootout at Lokhandwala - Below Average

It looks like entire production house is confused with this

movie. These fools are trying to market the movie as based on real story and

saying that we did “extensive” research and they don’t have balls to show that

“Based on true story…” instead they come up with usual “All characters in this

story are fictitious…”…Blah Blah!

So that was my first shock. Then I understood what are songs

(all waste except Strings and Euphoria track) doing in this movies. This movie

shows how can some incompetent director spoil such a great plot…I missed you

Ram Gopal Verma!

Movie makes a stupid attempt at making it commercial by

badly mixing true story with usual Bollywood masala.

The Good:

Background

music rocks! Simply brilliant…it almost carries the film.

Amrita

Singh: Simply rocks as Maya’s mother. She excels as fearless, ruthless

women as well as scared and hopeless mother of a son who is under fire!

Award winning performance!

Vivek

Oberoi: As ruthless, fearless, cool

headed Maya he is awesome. His entry is best scenes in film.

Rohit

Roy: Next one who stands out amongst criminals. He delivers cracking

performance and excels in climax when he phones his parents.

Shabbir

Ahluwalia:  Brilliant and believable.

Sunil

Shetty: Delivers a sincere

performance

Arbaaz

Khan: Competent

Bacchan's: Used well in small roles

The Bad:

Sanjay

Dutt:  I know I’m going to face

some criticism for this. OK, his styling is good but why is he behaving

like gangster…look at the way he walks. I expect much more from him. Why

carry a body language of a gangsters in cops role…sorry!

Tusshar

Kapoor: I know he is trying hard but poor guy simply don’t have an attitude

and body language of a gangster. Not believable at all!

The Ugly:

1.  There

was no scope of so many songs in movie. Go watch RGV’s Company! Useless stuff! And

yes gangsters should dance like gangsters. Go watch RGV’s Satya!

2.  I

guess instead of getting inspired from RGV’s Company, Satya.Approva is

inspired from Bhoot! Absolutely rubbish concept attached to much capable

Shabbir Ahluwalia’s role.

3.  So

many cops firing at building with so many bullets and still what we get to see

is our super hero cops are soon out of bullets and starts wrestlingwith

gangsters.

a. Sanjay

Dutt Vs. Vivek Oberai: Sanjay Dutt Wins!

b.  Sunil

Shetty Vs. Tusshar Kapoor: No

marks for guessing this!

c.  Arbaaz

Khan Vs. Shabbir Ahuwalia: Yeah Arbaaz

wins!

d.  Sunil

Shetty simply capters Aditya Lakhia and then Sanjay Dutt kills him in front of

press and public

  1. Gangsters

“visiting”cops and their families: Please don’t tell me that’s a true event!

  1. Rakhi

Sawant scene:     Should win an award for

most ridicules scene of the year!

Film is simply no no for most girls and children. Loads of

blood shed and bhoot’s too…LOL!

My advice to Approva Lakhia is please stop making films. You

are simply incompetent. Its just not you field.
