Animated, loud, vulgar, over the top masala, treat for the mass audience & Sunny Leone. That's all this movie is all about. A word of Advice for Mr Sanjay Gupta, Sex & abusive language does not always sell if the same seems meaningless.
There has been earlier movies with abusive language but those were backed by an excellent script, equally good narration & handling. Be it Satya, Omkara, or Gangs of Wasseypur. John Abraham tries his best, his level best & I would say he succeeds to an extent in the 1st half but falls flat post interval.Manoj Bajpayee has specialized in death scenes at petrol pump. Sonu Sood was average.
Anil kapoor did a fine job, Mahesh Manjrekar was excellent, Ronit roy was okay & of-course Tushhar Kapoor was as usual. Kangana Ranaut was bad, & even more bad in the bed scenes or I would say it's the director's fault not to have shot those scenes in a more aesthetic/pleasing manner. To me it looked vulgar. The three item songs are a sure shot hit among the mass audience.
The 1st half was entertaining & Sunny Leone was tantalizing enough (she has the curves to die for).
But that's it, post interval the pace of the film slows down, it starts dragging & the story/narrative gets even more boring. Terrible editing, a very mediocre background score, & average cinematography all were big let downs. I am comparing these aspects with 'One upon a time in Mumbai' as that for me is one of finest gangster movies made in the recent past.
Only go to the theater if you are a John Abraham fan.
