When you pick up a rifle, aim, and shoot, and when the bullet hits the mark, there is a sense of instant gratification. It's probably the only sport where every action gives you a clear win / lose result. Builds confidence.
Unfortunately, it's a highly misunderstood sport. Try telling your parents that you'd like to do rifle shooting, and the pat reply is ''No need to indulge in such a violent and dangerous sport''!
On the contrarary, this sport teaches you the real meaning of safety, carefulness and alertness. Make one mistake, and it could cost you your life or someone else's. So, there's no room for mistake. Isn't that an excellent thing to learn? Every parent should infact recommend this sport to their child. With proper training, the child will learn the true meaning of precision and safety.
