Shivanasamudra is the best water fall ever I seen in Karnataka, this fall is situated in Mandya district of the state of Karnataka. It is situated near to the Kaveri River. And it is the location for first hydroelectric station in Asia which was established in 1902.
It is just a 3hr drive from Bangalore City. the best way is through Kanakpura Main Road. The roads all the way to the falls is well constructed, tar road. Comfortable drive by 2 wheeler or 4 wheeler vehicle. You can’t miss the place because there are so many sign board on the road.
I went to this place from college bus in college trip. It is 250 km from my college so it was just one day journey. We went in morning and returned in night. You can enjoy the natural water fall. You can play with water. We went for boating which is made up of bamboo thin sticks, it was really amazing. For girls there is place to change dress which makes the sense.
I went during the August month, weather was quite cool because of rainy season and we enjoyed.My next trip is with my buddies from bike, planning to go in September because you will feel like going again and again.I will recommend this to every one family members, friends, old and kids.
