I have graduated from shivaji university, so I better understand about shivaji university. Most important quality of this university is its management and timely upgradation. From point view education, the syallabus includes of lattest technology and software and its uses such as MATLAB and AUTO CAD and so on.I am an engineer so I know about technical things of same but I am very that this university is putting its equal afforts in all fields.
As compared to other universitie's syallbus the syallabus of shivaji university is more helpful for students, I am this saying because there are some subjects which are essential for other compitetive exam also and these subjects were already thought by shivaji university.
Beside this the location or address of the shivaji university is it self kolhapur which known for its good environment, less pollition and all other good aspects because of all these student can easily focus on study and can do very good job.
Faculty working in this university is just fantastic.They have understand the exact problems the students facing and so that they have solution on same.
For ex. In todays world most of engineers are jobless this university knows the reson for it i.e. the less practical knwoledge or you can say not better or clear understanding of the concept. The concept should crystal clear and the theoratical concept must interlinked with practical or physical object.This gap between thoery and field work is overcome by shivaji university through addition of lattest topics, technology in its syallabus. Matlab and autocad are the basic tools that every engineer should know this knowledge is provided by shivaji university.There are some programmes in which whole class along with faculty give visit to field or plant such as wind farm and substation ( as I am electrical engineer I better know about my topic similar visits for other engineering streams also they visit their respective field) .Because of these programmes student can built link in between theoratical concept and practically oprating system. As a result of this engineering student have strong command on its field and he or she can perform very well in society and thats why not a single engineer of the shivaji university remains jobless.
Apart from this there are some curriculum activities which enhance the quality of student as whole.There are annual program in which all gather together and students perform infront of all and award also given to the excelance.
Personally I like this university because of its name i.e. SHIVAJI this belongs to the king of maratha, Shivaji itself means excellance.
Finally I am very thankful to the shivaji university for whatever I am today.
