Shivaay, Extraordinary Tale of a Trekker... Review on Shivaay

Ajay Devgn is back with his production unit and also with an interesting concept. It is said to be his Dream Project. This is the highest budget fim which makes it more interesting to give a shot. "SHIVAAY" is a 2016 Hindi action thriller film, directed and produced by Ajay Devgn under his banner “Ajay Devgn FFilms”.  It features Ajay Devgn, Sayyeshaa Saigal, and Erika Kaar in lead roles.Its has been written by Sandeep Shrivastava and Robin Bhatt. Its soundtrack is composed by Mithoon, while the lyrics been written by Sayeed Quadri & Sandeep Shrivastava.

After the successive teaser posters released by Ajay Devgn, the first look poster was released on 21 May 2015 from his official twitter account. The film was scheduled for a worldwide release on 28 October 2016 on Diwali weekend. Shivaay released on 28 October 2016. It released internationally in 60 countries including Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, and Chile. However, the film was not released in Pakistan. The shooting of the film started in November 2014, The major part of movie shot in Mussoorie, Bulgaria and Hyderabad.

It is a Family film. The action is a backdrop, but basically, it is a Emotional drama where a man is pushed to destroy everything possible because somebody is trying to destroy him. It is a wholesome entertainer but along with that it has the characteristics of Shivaay. The movie has been credited by a huge amount of 105 Crore making it among the highest budget movies of the year. It's also a long movie of 2 hours and 52 minutes.

A shirtless trekker  lying on top of a mountain on a snow-clad peak with a baby bong in his hand is Shivaay(Ajay Devgn), a mountaineering expert who spend  his time assisting the Indian Army, heading trekking tours and flirting with tourists.Shivaay is a Daredevil guide who makes hiking and climbing look extremely easy. He is an orphan who has been raised in the tough Himalayan terrains.Some college students join Shivaay(Ajay Devgn) for a mountaineering mission. Olga(Erika Kaar), a Bulgarian girl studying at the Delhi University, is one of them. They fall in love immediately. The two decide to make the most of her few days in India. They Spend good time there. And their good time resulted to Olga delivering a baby girl.

After some time, The Mother and Daughter separated for some reasons. 9 years later, Gaura(Abigail Eames), the daughter, wants to meet her mother who was in Bulgaria. Shivaay decided to take her daughter to Bulgaria to meet her mother. Shivaay soon find himself chased by Bulgarian police for being thrown in a Child Trafficking subplot. And also were haunted by the masked Russian Mafias, resulting her daughter being kidnapped. Shivaay however manages to rescue her after a long high-end actions.

Shivaay is an extraordinary tale of an extraordinary circumstances. He has Superhuman Strength and agility, as was obviously cleared from the Teaser and the Trailer. The Graphics which added the most part of the fim is a little disappointing and will be a flaw for the movie. The high-end Action on the other hand is the Soul of the movie.
