One is always reminded of the great Sai when the name of Shirdi is mentioned...
Many people have written only about the temple,the origin and popularity of Shirdi associated with SaiBaba,I'll be a dlittle detailed about some hotels and other minute things too...

INTRODUCTION:
Shirdi,the place of SaiBaba is one of the most famous places of pilgrimage not only in India but all around the world.
People from all over the globe,visit this place throughout the year just to be a little close to their Idol.
I visited it just three days ago and will narrate the whole magic of Shirdi with this review...
LOCATION/TRAVEL:
Shirdi is located around 287 kilometres from Mumbai.
It takes around 6 hours to reach it by car from Mumbai.
Buses too escort people to the holy place with just a mediocre fare of Rs.450.This even includes lunch.
Trains too travel there.
HOTELS:
Shirdi has more than 700 hotels for accomodation which are priced at mediocre ranges in comparison to the hotels of Mumbai and Delhi.
The hotels named Park Inn,Sai Leela,Neeta,Siddhant,Sun-n-Sand are the hotels on a higher price range.
The price ranges from Rs.1000 to Rs.2500 for a family of four for a day.
These hotels are more like resorts with libraries,swimming pools,gymnasium,jogging track,restaurant,billiards,spa,table tennis,video game arcade,and so many other facilities.
The food at these restaurants are great too,though very few serve non-vegetarian.The hotel also provides a jeep to leave and pick up from the temple.
The temple of Shirdi also provides lodging for its devotees at a very reasonable price of Rs.25 and food at Rs.4.The lodge building is right opposite the temple.
TEMPLE OF SAI:
The temple is the main attraction of Shirdi.This temple is important cause it contains the tomb of SaiBaba along with His memories.
The temple conducts Aartis and Pujas all day from morning 5:15 am to 10:45 pm at night.
The Aartis include the Abishekh Aarti,the Dhoop Aarti,SaiBaba's bath,the Morning Aarti etc.
The Darshan is there at the temple throughout the day,but the gates are closed 30 minutes before and after the Aarti.
The temple even includes a Prasadalaya and other small temples.
There is a Ganesh Temple,a Shiv Temple and a Shani Temple.
There is even a small temple which includes the Peepal tree under which SaiBaba used to sit.The everlasting fire which Sai lit is also provided with a small temple.
GOODS:
Shirdi is not only famous for the temple but the different portraits of SaiBaba and various fruits and other things.
The laddoos which are available at the temple at a price of Rs.10 for a packet of two are delicious.They are used as prasad.
Frames,pictures,wax idols,clocks,watches,chains,bracelets,rings,etc of SaiBaba are found in a large variety of choices.
The fruits of Pear and Jamun are very famous here.
The vegetables of Nashik and Shirdi are one of the best in India too.
The lassi and teh butter milk at a price of Rs.6 are very tasty and famous too.
CONCLUSION:
I hope I've covered all the points.Shirdi is worth a real true visit.It is like living heaven with Sai Baba!!
