They are Frauds!. Review on Shine

First Communication :I will not wasting much time and come to the topic. I have  purchased the following services one after another with a hope of getting a better job.

The services are cover letter and professional resume writing, Linkdin service, Executive bio and background verification of both education and employment. I had made all the transactions through internet banking, total amount is Rs. 13502/-. I was promised the following :

1. Your resume will be sent to 1000 recruiters listed with them.

   
   




2. Our organization belongs to the prestigious Hindustan Times group and we have respect in all the recruiters and companies of repute.

   
   




3. You will get minimum 15 interview calls in next one month.

   
   

What I got :

1. Absolutely useless cover letter and resume.

   
   




2. No job offer through Shine.com or their associates from last 4-5 months

   
   




3. My old resume attracts more response than that was designed by Shine

   
   

They again chased me for certifications courses and other services what I simply denied.and after that there is a complete silence.

What I will do next :

1. I have consulted my lawyer and will go to consumer redressal forum.

   
   




2. He is evaluating whether we can file it in consumer court as all the payments made through internet banking.

   
   




3. I was busy otherwise in my office work and kept my cool. but the time has come to act against the frauds. We are checking whether the Hindustan Times group is a part of this fraud.

I was going through some of the favorable reviews and am sure that those are posted by people associated with Shine. com.

Second Communication

Yesterday at 9:58 AM somebody(I do not remember his name) called me up from the cellphone no. 9958501562. He wanted to discuss me over phone about my issues with Shine.com that I have posted here and although I had mentioned that my preferred communication is Email.

He tried to convince me that they have done their best to highlight my resume in their portal and whether it attracts the recruiters or not is not their problem. He was talking to me in a completely different words to those guys while selling the products to me. While writing the first review I had observed that in most of the cases when they respond, merely ask about the communication details. So I have furnished my details in the first review not to give them a chance to linger the process.

During the conversation of 12.42 minutes he tried to convey that the problem is from my side and as if I am a fool that I have relied on them and spent the money.

I suggested him to go through the recordings of the conversations between me and their executives who had succeeded to sell the products tactically and what they had committed me during that time.and as usual I hope that somebody else will contact me after few days. Interestingly I am still getting SMS to contact for professional resume writing services from them that proves how professional they are. They are only spoiling the name and fame of The Hindustan Times.
