As the vacations were coming up, we had already planned for a trip to Shimla with the friends. The number of friends were 10, we planned the locatons and places to visit.
We had booked train tickets till Delhi.
The whole route was a wholesome 1200kms from my location, as shown by the google.
We left on 20th December 2017 in the afternoon. The train dropped us Delhi in 20 hours.
We had a hold for a couple of hours, then we were supposed to reach Shimla by the buses and Road Routes.
Everything was according to plan.
We had all the accomodation done before hand by our Trip Advisor.
We reached the hotel at Kufri, waited for the day to arise.
We were ready for 5 days with our breathes ready to take all the fragrance.
We ahd a strict rule of not allowing Mobile phones outside the hotel, which was a justified experience of staying away from the world, in a solitude owith the nature and its ambience.
Kufri had Horse riding for us. We did horse riding . Next reached the Skiing arena, whgere we learned how to GO Skiing. The odds were in favor, we had learned the task with a bit of ease. in the evening, we went to the Mall road, saw the local Ridge.
Next day we were to leave for the Forest Sanctuary and the Bird Park. So all went according to the plan. we were made to bask in the sun for a few minutes. We enjoyed watching the endangered and endemic bird species- Bird Watching programme.
The animals though were less visible during the morning hours, they were hidden in the darker shades of the forest.
Various medicinal plants were the best thing to observe and take notes on. This made our day psecial.
3.Next coming up in the evening was Tattapani, rafting was the all time favourite adventure and sports of what everyone could think of.
The sunset was one of the best sight seeing, where we took pictures for a longer time, the place to have the selfies.
We had trekking aside for the last day, because there we had to drain all energies with our enthusiasm, though we felt very energetic after we reached the end point, we had a chance to see the himalayan dears, and a few flocks of birds on the way, Bird Watching was also possible. the fields were so widely visible We were taught rappling with those carabiners tightly attached to us. Rock climbing was a risky task though. Scandal Pint was also in the lsit of places.
Next was the task of visiting all the mandirs- Jakhoo mandir, and Tara devi mandir.
The state Museum were also a part but were not much interesting according to my view.
After the 6th day we had to pack up. And left the place to reach Delhi.
the food at the hotel was good, food was never a concern, though we went to Sher- e- Punjab and ate the Chaats there. The Embassy Ice creams were the best of the softies, so authentic in its flavors, with the berries. Going in the market, we prioritised to eat the ice creams first.
Now that the Shimla trip was over, it is the memories we have in our minds, but Shimla is the best place one would always prefer to go.
