Shazam is a venture of DC into the world of comedy . Having a notion of making dark movies, DC does an amazing job at the comedy genre . Shazam is not just a superhero film . It is a fun ride which everyone needs to get on . Bill Bateson is a rebellious kid . Having separated from his parents at a young age , he has the only desire of finding his mother one day and in that pursuit keeps running away from all the foster homes until he comes across this group foster home hosted by a cute and homely couple . The fellow kids are kind to Bill but Bill is not here to stay as he has other things in mind . How he finds a superpower which he can’t use and how his fellow homies help him in his journey is what follows .
The ride is hilarious and has its emotional moments as well . The visual effects are stunning and so if the plot . The acting from all the artists including Zachary Levi , Asher Angel , Mark Strong is praiseworthy .
This one is definitely ringing the box office and should not be missed . It was a great watch .
