So we bought this Sharp 1.1 ton Split unit for installing in our office space. We chose this brand because it offer the best deal in terms of star rating and price.
We paid 38000 rupees for it and some more for installation. Our office is on the top floor of a building hence we need an effective airvconditioner. we have now installed this for over a week and pretty soon we realised that this machine is not doing its job well.
we are disappointed with it.
We set a temperature of 19 degree centigrade however it feels like 24-25! I dont know what is wrong with it!
the remote is also quite complex to use, it needs to have lesser buttons. the turbo mode also is not working as it should. The main unit is installed on the terrace and we can feel its vibrations in the office this is not cool at all! the indoor units flaps are having a swing motion but it does not go all the way down.
I have so many things that I cant go on criticising this Sharp split unit, I think we should have probably chosen some other brand! this is peak summer time and bearing the heat of a building's top floor with such a crappy AC is not worth the 38000 we spent! I wont recommend Sharp AC to you guys, look for another brand. Invest your money in any other brand but Sharp.
