I bought my Sharp TV more than 7 years back. I would like to say that I HAVE FACED NOT EVEN ONE SINGLE PROBLEM till date. The reasons I went for a color TV was:
(1) My earlier B&W TV was incapable of receiving hyperband channels
(2) Color TV was my dream then!
The TV has lived up to its 7 year guarantee. The remote control was also quite intuitive. For seeing 2-digit channels, one needed to press the two numbers. That was it! This facility was not offered by any other company!
The TV has 100 channel capacity and on some occasions, I have seen TV continuously for over 20 hours - at a stretch! Still, no cause for complaints. Only about 15 days back, the remote control - after really horribly being overused - has started giving complaint - some of the keys don't work.
Anyway, I am more than happy with the TV.
