First things first......
Is the media's attempt to trap a public figure's personal life on camera right?
Is the paparazzi culture which is at its height of popularity in the west an influence good or bad?
Does Mr Shakti Kapoor have a right to his privacy and space?
I strongly believe that what Shakti kapoor did was a shame to the Bombay film industry but I also believe that , what INDIA TV did was a case of unethical journalism wherein a person's private life is being opened to the ''ever hungry for gossip'' eyes of the public!
A few months ago what Star News captured Bollywood actresses into the prostitution racket without mentioning the names. That was absolutely fine considering the fact that it was unintentional in getting high TRP's but a genuine attempt at clensing the system.
Yellow Journalism is a destructive form of gossip which is completely malicious in any form and it should not be encouraged. Tomorrow media reporters might start acting as psychologists and reveal the problems of the unsuspecting common man, is that right? Just because Shakti kapoor is an entertainer, we have no right what-so-ever to peep into his private life. And if the channel really want to cleanse the system then why don't they have the guts to trap some bigwigs instead of a sidekick like Shakti Kapoor? Are they trying to portray that there is no politics involved in here?.......get a life guys!!
Coming to Shakti Kapoor's behaviour, its a case of utter shame and ignominy to the film industry where praying eyes of paan chewing producers and open buttoned directors are willing to go to any lengths to satisfy their burning loins. But of course they are not the only ones to be blamed.
The nubile bimbette breed of actresses who play satis and savitris on screen seem to be real life adultresses willing to tread any path for that minute of fame or defame. I firmly believe that you can't clap with one hand and no one can bed you without your consent unless in cases of rape which is a criminal offence, so the casting couch is a phenomenon that is to be blamed on both the parties!
Shakti Kapoor has made a career out of raping the hero's sister in 300 out of the 350 odd films he has done , do we really expect him to be a paragon or a model of excellence in morality?
This is a sad case of improper usage of SHAKTI by SHAKTI(on the starlet) and thus on SHAKTI (by the channel).......after India is fast becoming the biggest democracy ain't it??
