Is it an institution? A relationship?? A deal? A contract? A Priviledge? What is it to most people who visit this site?

Describe the best and worst aspects of this website? Aha!!!! The best is that you know that most will not get a partner here or anywhere so the likes of Hope will soon have more space to travel without being othered:)...without being told that one is inconsistent coz one has not been able to keep a marriage and never a boyfriend!!!and no girlfriends too!

The worst aspect is that some will find partners and marry nd claim they lived happily ever after...and the likes of these are clear headed upper class/upper-caste who are either well educated or rave about convent education. Many of them are seeking beautiful, tall, slim, fair, English medium/professional women as wives if they identify themselves as men. Women seek Handsome, settled, well doing/MBA (no more MBBS-relax u doc)...as hubbies...

No the worst actually is these people who have always had it all and have wanted to have all that they have had ...and have never been ashamed of the ''more'' they have had than others coz they have believed only they deserved it...like a bigger car, a bigger house, a cooler AC...admission in best schools through Recomendation...will aftre a social-legal monogamous marriage (with adultery and many other exciting adventures by the side) will bother the likes of Hope by telling her she is inconsistent...

The On line experience using SHADI web site....no interesting soul...no groom...no bride...Hope would have...could have settled for anybody...though they don't allow legal marriage amogst lesbians in India....but...

Another On Line experience...a lot of ppl seemingly think marriage is the only possible commitment. Somebody argued if you can live in and plan to have a long term relationship then why be scared of commitment...the final commitment.... hallo!!!! Marriage is a legal institution. Its not a relationship. It can be a legal form of a relationship. Relationships don't exist forever coz of that one sign, or prayer or saat pheraas...or do you believe it does?

And relationships can exist without extensive suppport systems also...though its a pressure...a massive challenge...

And if you think that thats the only form of commitment why does SHADI.COM devoid Hope and her friends from exercising the same rights??? Why doesn't SHADI let them marry whoever they wish to??

You the majority and the powerful....the Church, the temple, the mosque!!!! Whats Shadi.com...a legalised cruising joint for the heteronormative??? just because looking for brides/grooms like this is ok in ur present social context??? How is it that so many of you powerful ppl stay quiet...always???
