This is with reference to my membership with seventymm.com (Member ID 574993)


The account was activated in the month of October 2010 (for a period of three months). Till now, the experience has been horrible to say the least.


To begin with, the activation of the new membership. I was supposed to receive some free gifts (movie DVDs) at the time of signing the membership. They informed me that the DVDs will be dispatched within 1 day from the date of activation. Despite these promises, I had to repeatedly call them up for these gifts, which were finally dispatched after 25 days from the account activation. In case you don't follow up, please forget about these.


Second, coming to the quality of the movies:- An amazing print to start off with. Everything goes well till 20-25 mins. That's it and its over... Of the 5 movies ordered till date, 4 have the same fate...Yes, they promise you for a new DVD, extend your membership by a day (for replacement) etc... But, what's the point. Either you get the same DVD/VCD or get another disc with the same problem.


Third, One of the movies delivered was different from what was ordered. I do understand that mistakes do happen. But what is surprising is the rectification method. There is only one guy to deliver the CDs in a city in a given day. So, let's say you order a movie today, the CD gets dispatched tomorrow. And if the movie is different, you have to place an order again and wait for an extra day. I had done this procedure, worsestill, I got the same disc again. So effectively, 4 days loss. Whaat is the point if they extend my membership by 4 days?? Do you feel like ordering more?? If yes, hats off for your patience..


Four, they don't have a money-back policy. So, in case you decide to go for their disastrous membership, please opt for a monthly package...The top-up offers are even worse.. you get 2 defective CDs every time... LOL!!! that's crazy stuff...


Wish you good luck with damaged CDs if you are going ahead with their membership. Yes, forgot to tel, you get one suggestion from the customer care... put a drop of water and clean the disc and it will run fine... I feel like pouring acid on that damn thing...
