Frauds . Review on Seventymm

I am an online shopaholic and have bought something from every online site worth its name. Sometimes I buy something small from a new site just to check their services. That's what I did on seventymm.com. I went to the site and added a DVD to my shopping cart, checked out and reached the shipping address page. But I noticed that my home town was not there in the list of cities provided.

I chose the nearby city and proceeded.  On the payment page I found that there was no net-banking payment option, which is my usual mode of payment. I closed the site there and then. In the next few days I was pestered relentlessly by their customer care that an item had been lying in my shopping cart and they could help me out if there was some problem. I told them that my city is not listed in the given options and there is no provision for net-banking as well. I couldn't believe when the customer care executive suggested that I share my net-banking details with him and he would do the transaction from his end. I hanged up, but there was no getting away. When they called me the next time I told them that I would pay by debit card, but as my city was not listed, would they be able to ship it at my address. The representative told me to choose whichever city is nearby and assured me the item will be delivered at the pin code I specify in the shipping address.

I went ahead after this relentless pestering. I received the order confirmation, money was deducted from my account. Ten days have passed since then. No further information, no more phone calls, no more mails and everytime I call I have to wait for at least 5 minutes before I can speak to a human voice and the only response is that they would check and resolve the issue.

So thumbs down seventymm. Would never recommend it to anyone.
