A very old and famous joint for decent Indian food. Conveniently located in the busy neighbourhood of Malviya Nagar, it is frequented by the young and old, families and couples for a decent evening out. Ample parking place is available so there is no worry of driving down.
Although located across a sprawling area, the restaurant itself is pretty small with a sitting capacity of about 20 tables. After their latest renovation, Daana Pani has improvised on their menu list adding chinese and continental to their existing north and south Indian cuisine.
The food is good, staff is courteous however the service is pretty slow. The servings are decently big so it is good value for money. Moderately priced, if you want a decent warm and cozy Indian dinner with family, this is one of the good places to be. Be sure however to have ample time on hands or you may be disappointed.
