Story:

I have always been a RC fan and have written almost all of his novels....He writes good medical thriller..no doubt..but after reading this book...I thought its best he confines to writing medical thrillers alone.

This book is incredibly boring with a lot of unnecessary.

The story goes this way.....2 scientists find an breakthrough discovry in the field on neuro diseases. This has to be approved by the senator who himself is suffering from Parkinson's disease. So he makes a deal behind the curtains that he will pass their bill if they cure using that technology. He has one request, the blood that must be used for the process must be from Shroud of Turin , the burial cloth of Jesus. So the story jumps from USA, to Italy to Bahamas.

What I found irritating was that many of the plots had no significance to the plot. For example, the shroud epsode has no significance whatso verer except to fill the pages.Like wise, the detail description of the Wingate clinic and their past was also unnecessary...

In the end I would say that for the first time readers of RC..please dont try this book
