Hello my viewers today, I am writing a review on Movie Secret superstar, this movie has a story about the girl life, she seemed to be faced  difficulties in her life. Here are some main highlights og the film

1) Aamir Khan’s turn is unconventional as a derelict, promiscuous, outspoken but talented record producer who turns out to be an unexpected ally to Insia in her endeavours. He puts in a pretty convincing performance.

2) There’s a side story where Insia’s classmate has an unrequited crush on her, is ever willing to help her with everything from her homework and other struggles. It is easy to see that Insia plays out to be a very self-centred character, oblivious to the boy’s advances and is absorbed with her own problems.

For the same reason, when she suddenly declares her love for him towards the latter stages, it is not at all convincing. It merely comes across as her thanking him in her own way for his dog-like obedience throughout the film. We see no real development of the 2-way love which is supposed to exist. The presence of the classmate helps Insia's goals and the film though.

3) They have gone for a very idealistic ending with regards to Insia’s professional goals. Obviously, if someone who is nominated for an award and has been hoping to win it for years, finally wins it through the jury’s ruling, the recipient won’t just give it away to someone else in the blink of an eye because he / she believes the other person deserves it. That’s a dumb portrayal of reality.

It would’ve been another matter if the jury themselves had recognised Insia’s talent and ruled in her favour even though she was a newcomer. Then, it would’ve been deserved. Don’t get me wrong. I would love it if something as great as this would happen to me such that someone who gets a big award they’ve been pursuing, in turn gifts it to me because I deserve it. But that’s not a realistic expectation for anyone.

4) Zaira Wasim’s own acting performance is pretty good, but the direction and screenplay don’t do it justice at times. Points #2 and 3 above, clearly highlight the same.

But in general, Zaira puts in good efforts into her role with good results in most parts of the film.

5) Raj Arjun puts in a decent turn as frustrated person who is a constant source of terror to his own family. But I’m not sure it’s award worthy.

6) The direction is uneven but mostly strong. Probably, some transitional parts could’ve been better in the film.

7) The best scenes are probably the ones involving Insia succeeding with some thought at her first recording with some suggestions for Aamir Khan’s character. Or Insia anonymously tracking the extent of her own successes as an ordinary citizen among the masses like batman.

8) The songs in this film are good
