I purchased Seagate backup plus ultra slim HDD 1TB three years back. I choose Seagate because this brand is popular for hard disks. Initially I was satisfied with this purchase, both reading and writing speed of hard disk was good enough for my uses.
But after 1 year it stopped detecting my on pc. I took the hard disk to service center where they took 25 days to replace it. I lost all my data that was in it. After using new hard that I got from service center about 2 year this one also stopped one day and its out of warranty now, and I lost all my data again. I will never recommend Seagate hard disk for any important data backup.
