Wonderful product. Specifically this colour rocks! It's a metallic red. Regarding seagate HDD's in general(esp. the backup plus slim series), there's nothing much that needs to be justified. Just buy it blindly. In my opinion and experience, it's worth 10 western digital's. Works like a charm if you take care of it well and the USB3.0 provides blazing speeds with a USB3.0 compatible port/computer. I've bought several of these over the last few years and it's always been reliable even when packed to 1.9TB of data. I also love the fact that seagate provides paragon NTFS drivers for the MAC which basically means I can use a standard file format across multiple computers(NTFS). The onedrive space is cherry on top, but it's only limited validity so unless you're prepared to pay for long term use it's not a cherry worth eating. Overall a solid hard disk which I've not found any fault with to date.
