I live in California and originally from Visakhapanam. I went to India as my father passed away recently and just came back yesterday. If you are going there for decor, you picked a wrong spot. It is Glorified hut with granite / Stone slabs as tables. The service is a hit and miss.
When we went there with some friends around 2.30 PM on Thursday 5/5/16, there were about 10 people waiting outside and we had to wait about 45 minutes. We didn't mind because theIndian Ocean views in the back are breath taking. After the wait, we ordered 2 Mutton Biryani's, 1 Shrimp Biryani and Crab fry. The food was astounding and very very tasty. Was it spicy? You bet it was.
However, that is what we wanted. The other issue with this place is the location. It is not exactly easy to get to if you do not have private transportation. It is situated on the beach road past Gitam University. Having said that, the food is worth the drive and wait.
