I have been working at Schlumberger full time for more than a year. This is high paid core company for petroleum and chemical engineer.
But the working condition of these company is very worst.
We have to work on unbearable high temperature and pressure.
The carrier growth of this company is very slow if we compare to any software industry.
Just money was justified so that ot seemed to me to work on this company.
This company has less job security because they take proficiency test every year and if you fail in this test then you will be prohibited.
And the manager is very pathetic and rude. They don't give pass your leave letter in your emergency case.
Overall I would not suggest you to join this company better to join any other core company like ongc, oil and cairn india which has easy working than schlumberger.
