The very best. Review on Schindler's List Movie

Is there someone out there who intends to start a VCD collection .. like me...or wants to add into a collection...please check up your stack of CD's and if 'Schindler's List' is missing GO and GET IT !!

It is an absolutely amazing movie...and thats an understatement !!

I picked up the vcd as I had a general idea that its a good movie..but HOW GOOD !!

ok..so am I getting too excited ? well..i cant help it...the movie is in black and white....and I have a tendency of falling asleep in colourless movies...but here..cd after cd after cd(3 cds)..till 2:00 am into night I was wide-eyed ...and just plain amazed..

This movie shows WW-II in all its details...Goethe - the SS officer ...what must be going on in his mind ? how can he shoot people as if he is playing with pebbles ? cannot he identify them as humans ? what or who has filled or rather brainwashed his mind so much that he keeps on committing those atrocities..and thorough this one person we realise how it must be all over the German-occupied regions...absolutely mind-numbing...

Then there is a cynical businessman - Oskar schindler...who is earning hordes of money by war and spending it likewise...what makes him see the light(this is what separates good from bad ? but what ??)...what spurs the thought of saving jews : a crime in those times for those people...is not known..what is shown is how methodically and how ingeniously with the help of his jewish accountant does he saves lives of around 1100 jews..who are 20,000 now..and called 'Schindler's jews'...

The direction and the acting of each actor in that movie is fantastic...and all these adjectives are just not fitting ..so just WATCH the movie..
