I was shocked SFAM had'nt already been reviewed by someone. This is one masterpiece of an album. From everything to the subject spoken about to the music and the lyrics, this albums leaving nothing lacking. In other words, it just could not have been any better.

For a long time after I first started listening to this album (Dream Theater albums are'nt a once-heard-and-put-away types, you just keep reliving the experience ), I did'nt quite know what they were singing about until my curiosity got the better of me. In a way, this was good since I could fully appreciate just the music itself and not know the https://lyrics. Once I did look them up, I was so totally blown away. The album is about Nicholas and the constant messages he gets from the other side involving a girl called Victoria who was eventually killed by her lover after a turbulent relationship. Through the album, Nicholas is bent upon solving the mystery of Victoria's death and the events leading up to it as they occured. At the end of the album, once the facts are known, Nicholas says something to the effect that he is at peace now. There are also indications of another person involved in the, well, triangle. The whole album is laid out as a play with acts and scenes in each act. The music is what Dream Theater is known for, progressive metal, and is simply breathtaking. I implore all you 60's music fans out there to give DT the attention it deserves. You will not be disappointed. All the members are guru's in their fields. Bassist John Myung and drummer Mike Portnoy even more so. Portnoy's been voted best drummer by Drummers Review for the last three years consecutively.

All said and done, if you take your music seriously and have not heard SCOM, you are missing something. I thank my stars I am a Dream Theater fan, because if I were not, then THAT would be a serious lack in my music taste.

Hope I convinced you. Just go ahead and try this - it will make you the DT fan I am.

For the field after the review that asks the best time to play this album, I dont think it fits into any of the given fields. The best time to play this album is when you're doing absolutely nothing else - you need to concentrate on this and just this - it's that good.

I was spirited enough to make webpage for the https://lyrics. Paste this into your browser.
