I had gone to Jaipur on a trip. Being from Bangalore, I thought to book from Savaari rather than local Jaipur tour operators. On Feb 16th around 10 AM in the morning I booked a cab from Savaari. The cab is for a round trip from Jaipur->Delhi->Agra->Jaipur drop for 3 days. I got the confirmation with S0216-2379105 being the confirmation number.
Pick up time was 12 PM on the same day and the car appeared at our hotel. We checked-out of the hotel and loaded all the baggage into the cab. The driver mentioned that we are travelling to Delhi and final amount is Rs.8173. After driving out of the Hotel, he asked us about the trip and we mentioned it is for 3 days trip from Jaipur->Delhi->Agra->Jaipur drop. He suddenly stopped the car and mentioned that it was for one day and he will drop in Delhi and return. Looks like the Savaari agents had not mentioned to the driver about the complete trip.
After we mentioned that it was booked for 3 days, he dropped us back at the Hotel reception
and left us mentioning that he cannot come for 3 days. We had already checked out of the hotel and we had no where to go. When we called Savaari again, they mentioned that an alternate cab will be arranged. I kept calling them for next two hours and after two hours they mentioned that cab will arrive at the hotel after 1 hour 30 minutes. Even if the cab arrives after 1 hour 30 minutes, we will reach Delhi at 9PM and we will not be able to visit any places on that day. So I cancelled the booking as the whole day was lost in the booking.
I called Savaari at 10 AM and at 2 PM, I still don't have a cab. Due to mis-handling of the
itinerary, I lost one day of my trip.
After I posted the review and sent a compliant to Savaari.com, Customer relations officer called me and apologized for the above incident. So changing the rating based on the call.
