The old saying goes, ''there is a woman behind every successful man''. But it is equally true that there is also a woman behind every unsuccessful man. The faith of our former skipper Azhar after his spilt with his legal wife to marry former Miss India and Bollywood actress Sangeeta Bijlani is known to all.
Now the same episode is repeating with the present cricket captain of India, Saurav Ganguly. His links with South Indian actress Nagma is out and open now. The pressure of captaincy, additional burden of his illegal affair with actress Nagma more over, his worst batting performance in the on-going Australia-India series is once again raising the question of his stay in the Indian cricket team.
Indian cricket today has lot of talents and a nation like ours, where the game itself is treated as a religion, can't suffer loses only because of any personal problem of one individual player matters not he may be the captain of the side.
Todays cricket involves a lot of money as more and more sponsorship is willing to invest in the game to cash on its hype. Therefore, every professional player has to perform to his very best every time he steps on the ground or else he is simply blocking the place of other talented players, which is in abundance in a huge country like ours.
Saurav Ganguly, it is the high time to get back your form as early as possible or else get ready to to be axed from the Indian cricket team. A nation can't suffer a loss only because of the personal bad performance of its captain.
