Saurav has it all. A perfect batsman (critics: look his records guys), useful bowling hand and most importantly a captain who has the guts, ability to take on all the pressures, which comes his stride.
And yet have you people ever wondered why is it that in spite of having the best captaincy records ever (Indian) he is always criticized, looked down upon and even abused in the media.
It is not without reason that the maharaja calls himself the ''most hated Indian captain ever''
It is really surprising as to why certain people are always after him, no matter what the results are, Bedi for example comments that Saurav doesn’t deserve to be in the team, let alone be the captain: now such remarks don’t make much sense but reflects a hidden personal dislike against the Indian captain. Will some one tell such people that the interest of Indian cricket should be first and foremost in their minds and not their personal agenda of malice.
