Saurav Ganguly : Quite truly an excellent player. Bengal Tiger....Prince of Calcutta...A very good captain but a human after all.
At the start of his career it appeared that he could play strokes only on his off-side. But, though slowly, he has learnt to play almost every stroke on the leg-side too. Learning and improving with every match you play is a sign of a very good thinking cricketer. One who takes his job seriously, and more importantly strives to improve all the time. Today, he opens innings with Sachin Tendulkar but in no way is he ever overshadowed by Tendulkar which in itself speaks volumes about his talent.
As for Kvaze's question, With all the talent and humilty that he has, he too is human after all. How much injustice can you take quitely. Three out the four appeals, in that over in which he lost his cool, were very much right. even Tony Grieg commented the batsman should have been given out a couple of times. True what he did was not sportsman-like behaviour, but players too are humans with feelings. Whats more he is punished for it already....!!
