The man who has brought pleasure to many indian cricket fans for years...

The man who appeared to have the best bat in world cricket(that was how good his timing was).

The man who had a small boys smile on his face when ever india won.

The man who loved his cricket(u can tell this from his face on the ground).

The man who made the life of spinners and fast bowlers lot tougher ,to come to terms with.

With all this characteristics any player would have been a country's most favourite sports man.

It is definitely not the case with sourav for now atleast.

He has been vilified by almost everyone.

He was the man behind the great transformation of INDIAN CRICKET TEAM ,from a very ordinary side to the point where experts believed that it was the only team that could challenge and defeat australia .The transformation was a great one for

INDIAN CRICKET.

If people today talk about youngsters been given a fair run before they are dropped or continued , based on their performance,it has to be because of sourav.

It is a known fact that before sourav took over the reins of INDIAN CRICKET TEAM as the captain youngsters were never given a chance to prove their ability.

Had bhajji,zaheer,yuvi and kaif made their debuts under someone else I dont think they would have come so far.

and now we all know how valuable these players are to INDIAN CRICKET.

And talking of a very important feature of dada's game------passion.

When u see him on a cricket field ,u can tell that this fellow loves his game.

I am not sure if any other cricketer in world cricket plays the game with more passion .and if all these things do not mean much and if only facts and stats matter.

Then sourav has to be one of the best odi players to have ever played the game.

and the centuries he scored are the big ones --140+

in odi cricket these are big numbers and he has done it time and again.

And not to forget his bowling skills as well.

for all this '' The DADA of indian cricket'' deserves a lot more respect than what he is getting at this moment.
