I went for submitting a college project in the guru Jambeshwar University, which is in Hisar. After submitting the same, to utilize the time and exploring the place, I and my friends decided to visit the famous places of Hissar.

From a local resident, we got to know about the Sati Mandir and about Rani Sati Devi as well. We all were not even aware about Rani Sati Devi. He said that during Mahabharat, when Abhimanyulost his life, his wife wanted to be sati(die sitting on the cremation). She was pregnant at that time, Lord Shree Krishna, guided her and made her think about his son and also gave her a vardan that in her next life she can be sati but this time she has to think care of the child who is in her embryo.

In the next life, when her husband who was a King died, she displayed courage and killed the people who killed her husband, . But after that, she ordered one of her horse care taker to make arrangement for her to be sati with his husband's cremation. When he did all the arrangements, with happiness she blessed him that blessed him that his name will be always taken as well as worshiped even before her name own- this is the reason that she is known as Rani Sati Dadi.

I am very thankful to the person- Ram Gopal(Local), who updated us with this information about Rani Sati Devi.

After knowing all this, we visited her temple, which was just beautiful. People of all the religion- Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Isai were their to take the blessings.

Best thing about the temple was that their was no idol or image of the devi, her power is worshiped their. The white marble flooring and chanting of bhajans by the devotees in the evening made this place beautiful for us to visit in the evening.

After the Evening Aarti, we left the Hissar for our Home- Delhi.
