Sathyam is next none in the ambiance, interiors, crystal clear picture and Digital sound. But I would like highlight upon few improvements in the online ticketing system.
- There e-booking system some times results in blunder, When I had booked for ’’Dhaam Dhoom’’ for an evening show, I forgot to notice the timings printed in the pdf format it was mentioned as 12:00am (but the one confirmed in the online was 6:30 pm).
SO I thought it would be the 12:00pm show and I had gone along with my family and to my surprise I saw that those seats are occupied, the wonder is that no body checked our tickets deeper(it is understandable as the crowd was huge).
But after a little altercation with the Sathyam employees, they had confirmed that the computer system had goofed up and they had asked me to come at 6:30pm. That day was a working day so I had to take permission from my Manager to go to the Theatre at 12:00pm, even I had made my family to come directly to the theater.
It was a total time waste for the whole family. I hope that this will not happen in the future for any other movie goers, so please check your ticket thoroughly.
In the Sathyam online, booking I had selected the seats F13, F14, F15, F16, F17, F18, in the next screen(confirmation of the selected seats and the options for snacks) I found that the range had changed to F8, F9, F10, F11, F12, F13, it was actually symmetrically opposite. This did not cuase me discomfort but it will created an irritation about the system..
Most of the time(especially when the most expected movie releases), it is not possible to book through online, I don't know whether they do this intentionally? because each and every time I get a different error description for the same problem. Sometimes, it displays that the tickets are not available whereas I could book the ticket in the counters. This makes me doubt about the online ticketing system.
My sincere suggestion to Sathyam is that, it is one of the few (only one) multiplex in chennai that is agreed as a World Class one. Let not these simple mistakes spoil the reputation of this multiplex.
After all, Sathyam in the best place to watch movies and indeed I watch movies only in Sathyam cinemas.
