Bade Sir-Car wid his KBC white-beard (ye naya rang kaun sa hai) and Rudraksh mala is Robin-hood of Mumbai junta. Smoothly he drives his Ferrari on parallel track of Govt machinery. Every citizen on the streets of Virar-Dharavi-Bhindi Bazaar respects this Formula-one driver of society, who defies all rules of government and system. Here comes in a competitor in form of Rashid in his Mc-Laren (a businessmen/ smuggler/ criminal from Dubai). He consolidates all the rivals of Sir-car and lays a trap for him. Story takes a turn and Ferrari of Sir-car starts losing all the races. Here is the entry of Chote Sir-Car in his Maybach who has a tough challenge in front of him. Will he be able to get back Schumacker his lost glory? Will Ferrari win the race? When, How …?

Amitji: I am sure.. Ramu would have scrapped this movie, had Amitji refused the role of Subhash Nagrey. No one else wud have done justice to this role other than ‘all time Sarkar’ of film industry. With charismatic auro on his face, pride of a king in his eyes, roar of a lion in his voice, well-engineered gestures of hands and flawless gait… Amitji leaves everyone spell bounded. This angry old man still has a long innings to play, be it thumkaas with Ash in Kajrarey or commanding orders of Nagrey.
Abhishek Bachchan: After Yuva, Dhoom and Bunty n Bubli.. Aby Junior is current heart throb of film industry. Pairing with his real Father on reel as well makes it much more sensational for Aby Junior. His new look with trimmed beard gives him a macho look of a ruffian, much better than his traditional clean shaven suave image. Crowd loves him as a son of angry young man and expects him to recreate the same magic. As an actor Abhishek has evolved a lot, though he’ll take some more time to give his best.
Kay Kay: He is a wonderful actor who has shown his skills in offbeat movies as ‘Black Friday’ and ‘Hazaron Khwahishein Aisi’. In the image of a short-tempered rebellion craving for power, he has done full justice to the role of elder son of Amitji. Unfortunately, his role wasn’t strong enough in the movie. Also, when Bachchan duo are present in movie… its difficult for any one else to get much focus.
Don’t want to be called as MCP, but there isn’t any role for females in this movie. Even mannequins would have done the justice… ya just that they can’t shed tears.

Back ground sound track was quite gripping and well suited to respective scene. Many people found it cacophonic, but that’s how its supposed to be. Would you expect lion to roar as MeooooW??? Govinda Govinda and sanskrut verses also well suited chase sequence.

Direction of Ramu is clap worthy, he is anyways expert and experience in Gangster-ism. Editing in first half disappoints, could have cut it short and pace could have maintained. Cinematography is brilliant; much care is taken in showing close-ups of Bachchan duo especially capturing their facial expressions, which are amazingly spectacular.

Ramu has been inspired with God-Father and Shiv Sena Supremo Bal sahab for creating this Sarkar. With such motivating inspirations and experience of Ramu, final outcome shud have been much better. He claims Sarkar as the concluding part of his Satya and Company triology. Will some one ask Mr Varma, didn’t he say some thing like that for D as well???? Movie starts losing it grip from first scene itself, it has a very slow pace in first half. O.K. God-Father was also slow, but weren’t there better things to copy and lets put it straight, God Father is God-Father.
Character of Sarkar could have been made much stronger. Depiction of Subhash Nagrey character was too timid to convey spine chilling terror as demanded by his role. Perhaps, his one or two heated confrontations with rivals/cops would have done a better effect. Scenes like playing carom with Tanisha didn’t fit in well his personality.
Ramu has judged Abhishek much better than BigB in this movie and many fans of his has parroted some comments. But, wasn’t that the character of Shankar which was made very powerful. Comparing all-time-greatest-superstar with a budding actor wouldn’t be right thing to do. This movie is not at all a masala movie for masses, strict no-no for romantic couples, female audience might not highly appreciate this hard-core brutal cold-blooded professional Don-giri. With a nice audience, dunno how far will this Car GO.
In all, it was a Car in full throttle…

1) Kay Kay and heroine looks into each other eye. Sensual expression in their eyes and on face didn’t require any dialogues. Well executed scene..
2) Bade Sarkar and Chote Sarkar sitting together. Aby Jr holding hands of Big B comforting and reassuring him his responsibility. Very well shown transfer of leadership.
3) 30 sec Sprint of Aby junior to reach Big B. Rage on his face and that adrenaline rush is appreciative.
4) Bade Sir-Car waving hand to crowd from his Car explains very well why he is sarkar.
5) Chinna-selvam’s dialogue to his team-mates when he is terrorised with Sarkar. I am running to Tamilnadu, Swami ji chant hare-rama…
