I had not expected this from a person who potrays himself as a man with strong conviction, thoughtful and with different vision ... and who has been put under scanner for past few years after Company. One after another..he is like a failing meritorious student who has gone terribly wrong from inside and needs to check himself without any arrogance and ego otherwise be ready to be finished.
People don't watch movie which you make for yourself. If you do that then better release it just in your home and watch it alone.Don't bother public to waste their 200 rupees on such crap movies which you feel justified. You seem to be admant idiot who want to finish Amitabh Bachchan ( though its impossible).
I don't know how people here praised this movie. Sametime I also believe that reviewers like Raja Sen fo rediff and Khalid Mohammad are absolute idiots who are bound to write biased reviews against all the talented actors movies andespecially if anythign is associated with Bachchan..and sametime bound to write good and appreciate even worst movies of Shahrukh Khan like OSO Paheli and KANK as classics! RGV is correct in lambasting these media brokers who overestimate their presence. But comign to Sarkar Raj..I feel sorry for RGV. He has wasted the entire money, talented actors, everything.
Plot is like Quile Ka Rahasya serial of DD:Here is a movie which tries to be a suspence thriller, and ends at very predictable solution. You watch the entire lnegth with a story and learn finally that the person whose face appeared the least in the entire story is the actual villian...just like old time suspense movies .... this is the horrible state to whcih RGV has reached. Catch any person with least small screen presence and finally call him the villian, pass the last 20 minutes in telling a selfmade story of wiring the characters and how this villian was fitted in the entire wiring...then why don't RGV comes himself on screen and just give a story telling session on the name of movie!
Someone please tell him to watch narration style of Amitabh's own movie like Khaki and Aankhein..where the suspense and thrill go till the penultimate shots.
Both the movies Khakhi and Ankehin were about criss cross betrayal and conspiracies, and I rate them among the best movies of Bollywood for narration style and execution..every scene was connected to other, every frame leaving a small clue intelligently still the public could not guess anything neither the director needed to spend last 20 minutes webbing reasoning story for public. Learn from these two movies RGV!*
It would not be a shock if he would have even named Aishwarya rai as the main villain at the end! *

The entire movie looks like sluggish as each frame is dissociated from the past.Like all of sudden you call the crew members and artist and ask them to act for some 5 minute ad session. Collect those add sessions ..stitch them and call it amovie!
There are so many loopholes in the movie that its unbelievable that someone who had been counted among the most talented directors is performing like this....Anytime anyone can enter the DyCM office and Kill him and roam around scot free ..even in Nigeria Sudan this would not happen..one can't even roam free after killing a police constable and this guy is showing it with Dy CM that too in his office! So much drunken he has become of the power of Sarkar character that he could not control his fantasy while making a political realism? What a hypocracy !
Half baked Characters: He has not worked with any of the characters. You will feel that none of the character has justified length. Amitabh Bachchan is even not spared. The turmoil the director has created with character is the last nail in the coffin..despite of the fact that the entire movie works only becuase of Amitabh Bachchan who has merely 20 minutes screen presense. Abhisheik Bachchan looks forcefully making a rustic face, Aeshwarya rai's first appearance as a tough business tycoon and thereafter a weak Kneed girl for Abhisheik is extremely contradictory/not well worked out..this is the status of a woman in our society no matter how much professional post she holds. Ramu needed to handle characters with thought instead of haste. The three villans too performed Ok given the space by ramu still they too are victim of Ramu who fits them in the Quile ka rahasya storytelling at the ends anyway anyhow!
Direction techies ETC... it will be a joke soon on great Indian Comedy Show on Star...that in RGV movies...out of 2:30 minutes of movie...dialgoues are given 30 minutes and rest of the time the characters look left right down round here there, make constipated faces andBhajan Kirtan mandali starts giving the background music which goes on and on as if the movie is introducing new style of dance on music..face dance...one obsessed with irritating flute playing it nonstoppably..another obsessed with Sitar and another one with nagara....I felt that **why doesn't Ramu Keep titles of his movies like this: Sarkar Raj: A Musical Political Story!
Another sickness of this child is that he complete ignorance of requirement of surrounding with expression of face...this bloody man zooms the entire camera on the face andyou feer that one day he will focus only lips and eyes and you will have to figure out whether he is Bachchan Jr. or The Great Bachchan!
His obsession with dead monochrome is another sickness..it is OK for some shots...but too much of such coloring gives dipressing gloom, no natural surroung to feel even 5 minutes out of monotony...these are ABC of film making which does not need crash course to learn Mr Ramu and you too have learnt it only while watching movies in your video parlour!
Final lines: I liked his Satya, Jungle, Company, My Wife's Murder and Nishabd( despite of its huge criticism..it was really a nice movie and I will stand by that always. Nishabd has also one of the best song sung by Amitabh bachchan Rozana which you woudl liek to hear repeatedly) ...but thereafter this man is disappointing. he does not want to listen anyone or even think a while on that....with every failure he is getting more arrogant and this is marking his end. he needs to talkt o public to ammend himself.
For Public: Plain NO NO. Bhootnath or jannat will be a better watch. Bhootnath is the best movie of the year so far, which I liked the most alognwith. It has got everything and deserves to be seenw ith family.
Sarkar Raj is just like those movies like Om Shanti OM whom public disliked still on marketting gimmicks it became a hit! tasteless and souleless movies...Sarkar raj may have become a hit movie as it has recovered its all money just within 3 days of its release, but it will ensure the distrust of people in Ram Gopal Verma for future.
Request to Amitabh Bachchan:Please abstain from this man now. You hve given him lots of chances and support already which he misutilized everytime except Nishabd!
