Sapient has a knack of cancelling the offers without any reason which may left people in deep trouble.!!
This has come to light with 2-3 people encountered same problem with sapient recent time only.
BE CAREFUL WITH SAPIENT GURGAON OFFERS!
Hi everyone I am sharing this review...One of the incident that happened to my friend recently with his worst ever experience with Sapient Global Markets Gurgaon office!
He was interviewed (telephonic/ f2f/ hr round) and after clearing all these interview round was offered by sapient global markets Gurgaon hiring team.
But my friend was very careful in joining the firm as he wanted to know which project he was hired for.
When he tried to get in detail with HR people regarding project details he will be working for which everyone should and has right to ask for, they did many promises and listed many client names that he might work for and blah blah praising sapient and boasting of good projects and all.
So my friend still believed in firm and accepted the offer in goodwill of company and word of HR people.
After acceptance he got mail from HR after a day that offer is been withdrawn without specific reason and saying the project is on hold.
When my friend wanted to to know about why they took back offer he called in Gurgaon sapient office , the hiring team people reaction were surprisingly unpleasant and unprofessional, they do not want to cite any reason and in fact made statement like you are not eligible for job and said if we feel we will come back to you later and hung up the phone. He tried to contact 2-3 times finally they said we don't want to make offer sorry please don't bother us.
Later he asked some friends in sapient and came to know that it has happened with some more candidates who were offered and then denied later on .
This proves to be that Sapient Gurgaon global markets hiring team is bunch of mean people who are playing with peoples lives, they offer to many people and later they withdraw offers without any reason might be selecting candidates later on who fits into lowest salary bands.
PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH SAPIENT GURGAON GLOBAL MARKETS!
Sapient is very well known for its hire and fire policy also but these incidents has worsen their image. These companies should be taught some lesson in someway.
