Firstly, Sanjog is NOT a "hotel." THAT's a place where they also offer beds for a night's lodging. I don't know how that English word has come to mean any place on the street that serves food. :-) Anyway, Sanjog is a very good restaurant. The meals are very nicely prepared and delicious. The service personnel are standing by to help you any way they can. So, why don't I call them "excellent?" There are two reasons.
Their dining room is too small to allow smoking of any kind. One smoker ruins everything they have tried to do. Secondly, they do not have ready diet soda's like Coke or Pepsi. As a diabetic, I have to admit that this is a major problem throughout India where there is a national epidemic of diabetes. Why don't they and other restaurants keep those beverages in cans for even the "occassional" customer who wants them. I'm always forced to drink water, but when I'm going out for a treat I like the soda.
Over all I have a very good impression of Sanjog. It is CLEAN with filtered water you can drink from the glass on your table, and that speaks of the rest of the quality of this very fine restaurant!
