After reading through review from all of you I brought a Hyundai Santro Xing XO from Kothari Hyundai. The dealer selection is a difficult task but we decided to buy it from Kothari Hyundai since it was near by. And this is where it all started.


I was told to book a car as soon as possible since there was some offer. Accordingly I booked car. I was told that some discount would be given. Accordingly everything was to be settled within Kothari Hyundai only. But I was shocked to know that Sales Department had no synchronization with Accessories department. The discounted amount was to be paid by Sales to Accessories.


On the day of Vehicle Delivery I was told RTO passing is done but we do not have car number. I had informed sales guy to get everything done well in advance (2 weeks back) but this was not done. Service is pathetic do not expect them to call you back. In other words they work like lazy office. Everytime you have to call up and request whether XYZ is done. Then they will let you know status.


The sales guy requested me to pay the Amount (which was to be paid by Sales to Accessories [internal settlement]) since it was relatively small amount ( Less than Rs. 3500) I paid same. And I was given assurance that I will be getting cheque for excess amount within 2 working days.


Its been 40 days I brought car and I am still waiting for the excess amount cheque. I called up at leat 25 times. Everytime I am given reason "Our Sir who signs the cheque is not in town". I am amazed if this is true then is the boss has not come to the office since 40 days. Great for employees isn't it.


The sales Guy was very active before delivery of car and is non responsive after car delivery. Actually it is his responsibility to make sure customer is returned excess money (since he was not able to pass on excess money within the department). Every time he says "I am little far from the Showroom now OR on a TEST Drive and I will give you a call once I reach the Showroom". And people its been 15 days I am waiting for his call. Earlier I used to give a call almost everyday but now I am tired of calling. I have approached Accounts department and expecting to receive same from them within a month (even though assurance is given for a week)


My Verdit its really been pathetic experience buying from KOTHARI CARS. Please avoid. I am planning to get my car serviced from other Hyundai Dealer.
