Sanjay Gandhi National park is located at Borivali(East), Mumbai. Many a people dont recognize it by its name. Its a kind of forest. The person who loves nature, will enjoy this visit. But as people expect some dare devil animals & great experience from national park, you will not find nothing as such. It feels quite boaring. Its not kind of place where you want to visit again.
I had visited 1 year ago. At that time, entry ticket was approx Rs 60/-. But nobody was there at gate to check ticket. We were 8 person & got ticket for only 6 but that was just by mistake. But When we entered, we came to know that no one was there to check ticket.
You can take car inside the park. Only safari tour is not allowed in our car. It has to be in special car designed for that. There is separate charge for safari tour. But there is not as such animals which you should take care of.
Hence it is not recommended to visit that place. Sorry to say but its kind of typical govt place. It must be handed over to private so that it can be reinvented. Thats my suggestion.
