Sanjay Gandhi national park is reserved forest located at north Mumbai.
It is one of the best place to visit in Mumbai. I have been visited this National park several times with group of my friends.
You can reach Sanjay Gandhi national park from Mumbai suburb hood Borivali. You need to pay entry fees to enter in national park. Entry fees is very cheap and affordable for everyone.
There is facility to travel in national park like mini train. There are several small hotels for temporary habitation. Now a days it is difficult to find big cats there(particularly lions and tigers) if you are lucky then you can find leopard there. Apart from it you can enjoy nature beauty and diversity of other wild animals and birds. Apart from nature you would definitely like to visit Kanheri caves which is another tourist attraction. You will definitely enjoy there. Best time to visit there is in between September-march. Thank you!
